I wanted her to be as authentic as possible, rather than wearing a blue top and leggings. So, I bought three different kinds of paints and tested all of them on her. The blue in the Smurf makeup and Nose kit was the most authentic and matched the blue mittens perfectly. Also this blue paint applied to her skin the best, covered quickly (important when dealing with a 6 yr old)and didn't bother her skin like the latex product. It made her feel the most like Smurfette. She and I both voted for this one. So, I ordered more tubes to make sure that we had enough for two applications (Halloween and her birthday party). My future Smurfette didn't like the rubber nose, nothing against the product, it looked great.......just not for this particular little girl. We're going to try something else to build up her nose a little to get into character.
