It's only about 6-7 inches tall, a little smaller than I expected. I found the price point a little high, but as a Christmas present for my 6-year old, I wasn't worried about it too much.My daughter was more than pleased with her Coraline Doll. It's more of a collectable/figurine type. She plays with it and loves it and it's quite sturdy. I plan on buying the other styles of the Coraline Dolls as well. The doll is very well detailed, looks exactly as Coraline does in the movie. Her hair isn't as dark, more of a translucent blue than a matte blue. Her face is adorable. Very well done. Adorable little expression on her face. The clothes are well made. If this is something you are thinking to collect or buy for someone, I wouldn't hesitate. Just don't expect a regular sized doll, it's pretty small. When I received it, it came in secure packaging, box and stuffing. The product itself is very accurate to the Coraline doll being used in the motion stop movie, where 6 inch clay dolls are used to create a story, such as bending the dolls arms and legs. The stitching on the clothes are top quality and the face on Coraline is very cute and has lots of detail to show emotion and character =). The hands and shoes can come off so I wouldn't recommend this to any children below 5 years old. The clothes can also come off. I think the only draw back to this doll is that the hair is a little see through and isn't a color I would choose for Coraline. The face of the doll also doesn't come out either, but I forced mines out revealing an empty head with two eye sockets (like the dolls used in the movie!). |
