The unit has a decent finish that for chalk usage, and the clapper is toy quality, but gives a nice snap. All-in-all this product met my expectations nicely. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Its Not Terrible, = Durability:  = Fun: = Educational: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Clapboard for Movie Director I give this a little bit of a bad review, but thats because the one I got has some problems, the little clap piece on the top broke off soon after I got it, it was already a little damaged by that piece, which lead to its tearing, this is probably an accident from shipping, but in general you will not have a problem with it.Other than that, which can be fixed, but I haven't gotten around to it; it is a nice little thing, you will need to buy some chalk to use with it as it doesn't come with any.
